You know you are a bit of a narcissistic nerd photographer when the arrival of a wedding album in the mail was one of the most exciting things that had happened to you in weeks.
So naturally, what do I do? Take out my camera and photograph my own photographs.
But, when they are displayed so beautifully in one of these Signature Albums, how could you NOT? I mean really!
Check out the unbelievable, gorgeous blind embossing on this linen cover? How incredibly sleek, yet textured, rustic yet modern! Kelsey and Drew have very great taste! And the color…. Sand…. LOVE.
This – this wedding album design and printing process – is the single most gratifying part of the entire wedding photography experience for us. It takes 600-800 digital files – just a few million compressed pixels – just hangin’ out there on your hard drive and brings them to life.
Not to get too poetic here on you, but an album transforms what was once real back into something real. It takes tangible moments from the past and transforms them into this incredible tangible keepsake that will live with us here in the present. For all of “the present” that is to come over the next 80 years of your marriage. Then, it can live on through the generations.
If you truly want something archival, there is nothing like a print. And especially nothing like a collection of e-surface photographic prints, flush-mounted, then seamlessly bound up in love, in history, and in a complete story. Your story.
So, congratulations Kelsey and Drew! Enjoy this for all of your years to come!
