Hi there! Is everyone safe and warm?? I sure hope so! But, if you aren’t warm now, I think you might be after taking a peek into Kelsey and Drew’s beyond-beautiful wedding day.
There was so much sweet excitement in the air. So many precious friends and family on hand to bless these two as they began their forever.
Here is a sampling of some of our favorite photos from their day. Congratulations you two!
…. And now you have the most precious, beautiful detail I’ve ever seen. This was Kelsey’s way of honoring her late father and keeping him close on her day:
Before Kelsey went down to meet her groom for their “First Look” we took a moment to capture her in all of her bridal beauty!
And we couldn’t NOT get a photo or two of her handsome groom, right??
Let me just pause here for a moment to explain what you are about to see. Kelsey and Drew chose to see one another before the ceremony in what we refer to as the “First Look.”
“What??! Why??” You might ask.
Well, there’s definitely a strong case to be made for how it facilitates the flow and logistics of the day. But, to me, it’s all about what you are about to see:
A perfectly peaceful, beautifully private moment – where the groom can simply stand in awe of his bride. Where they can hold one another, where they can laugh, where she can twirl, where he can cry. No one there but them.
(Except of course for us… but as you will see, we put on our telephoto lenses and backed far away to give them the seclusion they deserved in that moment).
I can’t get over this look….
Oh me – so in love with this sweet moment. Kelsey showing off her dress and Drew checking out his bride…
AH! Wipe those tears away and get ready… ’cause it’s portrait time! (Another great reason for a “First Look” – extra time for picture takin’! Which of course we love!)
We explored the Inn inside and out!
Now it’s ceremony time! I just had to share some of these fun photos from before the ceremony. The vibe was definitely excited, yet relaxed…. love these… (and Kelsey… why were you barefoot??? Ha)
These fabulous details greeted guests as they arrived. Of course, I LOVED the engagement photo table. But, my favorite had to be a display of sweet cards Drew used in his proposal outlining all of the reasons he loves Kelsey…
The barn is such a stunning venue! And, Karie Sutton, their fabulous coordinator, rocked the socks off the place!
Love these moments…
Just a couple more photos outside the barn while Karie and her team “flipped” the space!
And, the end result….
Wishing y’all a blessed future together!
