Welcome to the wedding of Sharon and David – two of my the most precious people we have had the privilege of photographing! This day was so full of warmth and love and joy that you could be forgiven for not noticing the sub-freezing wind chills. Of course, they had planned an April wedding in Arkansas no doubt dreaming of sunshine and 70 degrees, but when that didn’t deliver they didn’t even care. They were so focused on the excitement of joining their lives together and celebrating with their friends and family that they couldn’t help but spread laughter and happiness everywhere they went!
If you remember, Stephen and I had the incredible privilege of traveling to Washington, D.C. – their current home! – to capture their very D.C. engagement session. Click HERE to revisit those very magical strolls around the Lincoln Memorial as well as their cosy in-home session.
It was there that we got to know them and hear their story and wow did we fall in love with their love. They are so beautifully matched and so ready to take on life together. We know it’s going to be an incredible ride!
A huge shout-out to Kriss Marshall of A Sentimental Journey for bringing this day flawlessly to life! Also, Althea Wiles of Rose of Sharon created these gorgeous floral designs almost entirely locally-sourced! I love Sharon and David’s heart for all of the smallest details and Althea took their vision and ran with it so beautifully!
