I can’t believe it’s been almost two weeks since we flew to D.C. for this incredible engagement session! I don’t know how many of our readers know, but Stephen and I spent the first couple years of our marriage living and working in D.C. before moving to Costa Rica and then back to Arkansas to start our family – we have such sweet memories of our life there together. How incredibly special it was to be able to capture this couple’s love and life in a city that has meant so much to us!
Sharon and David are such dream clients. A couple of foodies, travelers, adventurers, and big city dwellers with small town hearts planning a perfect spring wedding in Arkansas – Sharon’s home state. We, too, have planned an Arkansas wedding from Washington, D.C. so the connection is real, y’all.
We started this day off at their perfect little love nest in northeast D.C. for a personal peek into their cozy life there. Seriously, how they scored this sweet spot is beyond us! After that we Ubered down to the Lincoln Memorial to bring in some classic D.C. architecture to the shoot. I love that no matter where life takes them they will have these images to remind them of extraordinary life they were leading as they prepared to become husband and wife.
So, enjoy this peek into some of our favorite images from this day!
